KJ Carta Samuels also being recruited by UCLA apparently

Ya, guy on GPC is saying K.J. Carta-Samuels the 4 star QB from San Jose, CA, who decommitted from Vandy with Franklin's departure was quoted in San Jose Mercury News this morning "I have an eye out for UCLA".

This is why you don't date someone who was in a relationship, but they left their significant other for you. I mean, they'll do it again.

Cunninham committed to USC for track.

Why don't we tell players if you commit but continue to take visits we will continue to recruit other people.  Seems simple enough...  This late in the process either way we get effed.

Instead of going after Bush, I wouldn't be surprised if the staff just gave an offer to Colby Moore.

Act like you've been there before...I don't get into the recruiting process until the ink is dry!

If only our recruiting coordinator hadn't retweeted the Nick Marshall concussion suggestion.  :shakesfist:

All you "Seal the deal" folks, just how do you propose to do that.  Whips and chains?  :dunno:

Better recruiting.

Like when you do your job, and then don't fail at doing your job.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

yeah. call the kid regularly. Get a feel for his mood. Ask him how classes are going. How is weightlifting going. Ask him if he's dating anyone. Ask him if he's hearing from any other coaches. Call his coach and ask how he's doing, ask if any other coaches have stopped by, and if he's working out now that the season's over. Call his parents. Basically do whatever you can within the rules to get a feel for the kids state of mind and start recruiting other QB's the second he gets jumpy.

I wouldn't even feel a bit guilty if we had a better prospect pop up at the last minute and yanked Sharp's scholly for the better guy.  So it would be incredibly hypocritical to be upset at the kid for doing the same thing.

Don't commit if you're going to look. Yes, it's sh!tty. Nothing wrong with looking...but don't commit if that is your intention. And don't be committed for 7 mos and change it with 3 weeks to go. It's a character issue. You figured it out yet?
