TL Ford just flipped to UNC Charlotte.

I'm betting we asked him to gray shirt to make more room for another guy.

This is hilarious 24 hours after you idiots bitched about a 17 year old not honoring his commitment. I find it hilarious that the posters bitching yesterday let this post pass without comment.

You disagree?  I'm not saying it's right or wrong; just what I think happened.

Also, I said that I was being overly emotional yesterday.  I admitted as much.

I liked TL Ford.  This sucks.

I don't agree or disagree, its your theory and it sounds good to me. I just found it funny that if this did happen it was right after people were saying that Sharp taking this visit and possibly decommiting is some sort of character flaw but won't say a word if their holy lhcbs pulls some bullshit like this.

I know you apologized and that was big of you, there are still some reading this that think Sharp committed some unforgivable sin and that he's not raised properly.
Pulling a scholarship offer for wanting to restrict someone's options is a FAAAAAR shittier thing to do than to take visits or flip.

OU dropped their scholarship for Jeremy Maclin when he continued to look. Our coaching staff aren't the only dumbasses who do this.

Pulling Sharp's scholarship is bad for a ton of reasons.  MIR mentioned a lot of reasons why earlier in the thread, but if you look at it from a purely strategic, non-ethical standpoint, UCLA is trying to get a 4-star QB to look at them, so Sharp's offer may be contingent based on that kid.  Washington probably isn't a slam dunk, either, if his Mom gets into his ear.  In terms of distance, UW is probably about as humanly far away from Houston than just about anywhere else in the continental US.

I mean, I get it if we have limited scholarships and the coaches are hell bent on taking a QB in 2014.  But we aren't going to get a QB of equal value in this class.  We have the walk-on from Texas.  It's probably best to just take him as a preferred walk-on and not hurt the scholarship count for 2014 and then get a prep and JUCO in 2015.  That's probably the best option at this point if Sharp moves on.

If we get Delton or Willis in 2015, we're probably in pretty good shape as far as underclassman QB's go.  Sams is most likely going to start in 2015.  The hope would have been for Ertz and Sharp to duke it out in 2016, but now it's probably going to be Ertz/JUCO/2015 Prep recruit.

It's a freshman QB and 3 rsFR depth at UCLA right now.  However freshman QB was a stud dual threat in HS from FL.

This.

In theory, KSU putting their foot down 3 weeks before signing appears to be a good move and some may say it's about time KSU is growing some balls.  In theory, if a player  decides to flip, let's say, 3 weeks from now, KSU may be SOL on plan B.  Perhaps plan B is still available, and thus KSU needs a decision from Sharp fast.  Either stay with us or go elsewhere.

However, in this situation, where the next best alternative for KSU may be a pud (Plan F), let Sharp go do his thing for two weeks.  If Sharp leaves, that pud is most likely still available, or we replace that pud with another pud.  I highly doubt any of the guys we may go after if Sharp leaves has Saban knocking on their door or Weis/Mangino trying to eat their door.  If there is a guy who is a stud, and KSU has a good chance of getting him if we go after him hard right now, and that player will only come here if he's the only QB recruit, then my point is moot.  However, I'd be shocked if some stud was available this late that KSU can pull.

If Sharp doesn't leave ... party on.

Here's some A++ Stalking.  Sharp just added Washington Husky Football to his "work and education" on facebook.  It previously only had Kansas State University.  Not saying this means anything.  Just pointing out facts.

Washington also going after QB K.J. Carta-Samuels hard.  2 individuals on 247 "crystal balled" Carta-Samuels to Washington today.

We’ve heard that the official visit this weekend by Aaron Sharp, the 6-3, 195-pounder from Houston (Tex.) Summer Creek, isn’t just to keep Sharp on any kind of back-burner. If Sharp checks out in person, and we would suspect he would since he’s a very athletic prospect who is a good student, UCLA is expected to offer Sharp on his visit. Sharp is currently verbally committed to Kansas State, but the word is that there’s a very good chance that he’d flip to UCLA if the Bruins offered. Sharp, who is a very good running quarterback, apparently can project himself very easily into UCLA’s offense after watching Brett Hundley this season. Washington is also hoping to get a visit from Sharp, with new coach Chris Petersen and the Huskies needing a quarterback as well.
http://media.scout.com/media/image/126/1262154.jpg
-- The situation very well could push Brad Kaaya, the quarterback prospect from West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade, more into a final-decision mode. Kaaya is verbally committed to Miami, but at various times it’s been thought he’d flip to hometown UCLA, but it’s never come to fruition. UCLA getting serious with another quarterback prospect might do the trick. The problem, though, for Kaaya, is that UCLA isn’t just blowing smoke over Sharp and will take his commitment if he commits. Kaaya is tenatively scheduled to officially visit UCLA on January 31st, UCLA’s biggest recruiting weekend in which a heap of elite talent will officially and potentially unofficially visit UCLA, but that could be too late for Kaaya.

I don't see anything wrong with a "we won't recruit any other QBs if you won't take any more visits" agreement.

Who needs tall receivers when you have Dsams running routes.  TL ford probably saw the below linked video and decided to decommit.

Interesting find ningluke86.

Nice try sunny, but fail.  I gave the original poster credit already, and posted the link here to further my point.  See my previous post to the original poster regarding Sams' running routes.
