buzz is a big rough ridin' pipe dream, but he is my favorite coach in the world.

He is considering the SMU job so he may be interested if we pay him a lot.

Who the eff are we worried about transferring? Angel, maybe, but that's about it.  Would take that loss to get a coach who can recruit.

I'm not worried about any of them until I see that KSU is giving releases.  The pragmatic side of me hopes that they give releases to anyone who wants one.  The "I want my team to be good" side doesn't want any of them getting released.

Does anyone ever give releases before a new coach is hired? Hire the coach, then give releases to whoever wants one.

No, and agree.  Still don't GAF.  We're 12 months away from the cupboard being bare.

I agree. I will be shocked if any of our players follow Frank.

Following Frank won't be the issue if releases are granted.  If they did get releases they would certainly be conditional.  In many cases of player transfers of this nature the player will go to schools that already recruited them.  There's also the issue of Frank's already existing roster.  Frank is the BITB in Franking, but he won't be Franking players who have never seen play.  See BCG Franking about 6 or 7 dudes this off season.

the NCAA can't keep KSU from hiring anyone. KSU just has to accept the sanctions that follow him (or at least the reduced ones after the Compliance Boss wows them at the hearing).
