I bet the list begins and ends with Underwood actually.  Its his job to lose, word is already being spread that he is the only way to keep players from transferring and the was doing the coaching anyway.

Noticed during the halftime locker room speech of Cuse game that Underwood was really trying to get some words in.  Martin wanted that show all to himself.

Who the eff are we worried about transferring? Angel, maybe, but that's about it.  Would take that loss to get a coach who can recruit.

Jankovich and Underwood together would be an excellent fit.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

You guys keep throwing guys who are well known sleazy names for the basketball kiffin.  UT was clowned for Kiffin because he had no head coaching experience, the world wasn't aware of the depth of his sleaziness.  Jerome Tang is clearly the best combo of sleaze and sexiness.

I wouldn't mind Underwood, but Buzz or Pearl would be awesome.

According to some guy on GPC, Kruger was on his phone through the Thunder game. So, there's that.

Underwood positives:

1.  He has played basketball before
2.  He will never leave
3.  He can coach offense
4.  Very intimidating!
5.  His players could call him "Underhood"
6.  White alums would be accepting of him
7.  Seems like a "cool guy"

I'm not worried about any of them until I see that KSU is giving releases.  The pragmatic side of me hopes that they give releases to anyone who wants one.  The "I want my team to be good" side doesn't want any of them getting released.

He could keep most or all of current roster and recruits.

Does anyone ever give releases before a new coach is hired? Hire the coach, then give releases to whoever wants one.
