Well that's a stupid question. The squishy gooey delicious part of a rangoon is one END, and the four crispy delicious things are the other END. It's like eating the icing first or last in a slice of cake, imo.

I learned a few things from this thread but 2 really stick out. One: a lot of you people are some weird mofos IRL. Two: I'm having Chinese food for dinner. Just to try the whole mile in your shoes thing, I'm going to try several different techniques divulged in this thread. T's and P's would be greatly appreciated.

my tastes have matured. I still rip in half and dip, but dip in a mix of 75% sweet & sour/25% hot mustard. Yum!

Adding a bit of soy sauce was good. Sriracha was good. (duh) Dipping in duck and/or sweet and sour sauce was gross. Totally agree on dipping egg rolls and wontons in a bit of hot mustard.

The dipping bowl part threw me a little. I would have thought for sure it would be a Dixie paper plate with the soak proof shield and some sort of floral pattern.
