Charlotte tips?
If it isn’t too late, I really enjoyed Mert’s Heart and Soul when I was there like 7 years ago.

I eat on planes and I don't give a eff who cares. Who is to determine what's considered smelly anyway? You know what generally smells strong, food served on planes. Now I do try to finish very quickly, like before the boarding is even done, and I don't sit in coach anymore so is not like I'm in someone's lap while I'm eating. If people are eating on a cramped ass airplane it's because they feel like they have to, not want to. Y'all nosy ass fuckers need to myob.
Thank you

Posted in the Covid thread, but venues here are starting to require attendees be vaxxed

Complaining about other people’s food smells on a plane is whiny and childish

my company just updated our employee management system with a new tab to update your vaccination status. doesn't require any proof though and one of the options is "prefer not to answer"

 :dubious:
Our prefer not to answerers get to wear masks at all times in the office. It’s the same as answering no.

Going to see Jimmy Eat World tomorrow night
This was awesome.

Venue had signs recommending masks regardless of vax status. I’d guess in line it was 50%, but inside it was 5-10%.

They played a couple songs, then played all of Bleed American front to back

Maybe take it to the shame thread, but I think Chicago is way overrated. I guess I just don't get that city. It's cool and all, but I'd never want to live there. Been there a crap load of times & it's never been like: "OMG, I GOTTA LIVE HERE!".
Depends where you are. The touristy areas are touristy.

IMO opinions will change when vaccine passports become more prevalent. California already has QR codes for vaccination proof that takes like 30 seconds to access and every day I see more and more businesses requiring vaccination for entry. It isn't that hard.
I need Walgreens to come up with a QR code. I have copies and photos, but I seem to have lost my original card

eff, Katie Ledecky didn't medal either. Today in Japan is starting just as shitty as yesterday was. Good on Carissa Moore hooking up that surfing gold though, happy for her. Concast had a congrats commercial ready, that was cool.
I think she won? Or was that an alert for a different race? She won the 1500

Appreciate the perspective MIR. Not sure I’m 100% of the way there with you, but I see it. Ultimately she should give zero shits about the opinions of anyone but her teammates here.  Coaches, USA Gymnastics, jackwad American fans? eff em.

Pretty horrible day for the USOC. The softball women lost in the gold medal game and Simone Biles just said, "nah, I'm good."
The discourse around this is really strange too. Mental health is important, but pretending this is a good thing is total nonsense.  ESPN called her “the ultimate teammate” after quitting on her team, because she cheered and got them chalk.

Heartbreaking quarterfinal loss for USA Rugby 7s against GB. Blew a huge lead.

Lol. Tom’s old time-y tractor convention thinks that thing is antiquated.

Your dumbass surely sees this as a failure of the vaccine, despite the infected person not having significant negative consequences.
All I did was post a link, bro. Relax, it’s Saturday. So emotional. :frown:
You provided enough context with your kyckball’d posts last night
