Touchdowns are nice.  Seems odd to spike it though?

I listen to audio books while running.  A good book distracts me more from the miles still to go than music does.  I need distraction because running is the worst.

Sad about Gill's forearm.  That didn't look pleasant.

I love predicting what play we will call based on what Iowa St would've called

They cut to Auburn Miss St game and the first play the Auburn running back is tackled into the poor Miss St bulldog mascot. Maybe he bit him after the TV cut away.

Maybe Delton can win the starting job back at least.

Obviously these guys don't watch much football outside of Kansas, but we have put up some impressive seasons:

Don't click that.  Virus alert.

Do you think the home fans still stay and applaud the other team as they exit the field after they just piss pounded their beloved Nubbs?  I can't remember the year but I was there when we beat the piss out of them and there were like 20 Nubb fans in the stadium as the game ended.  They loved to tell everyone how great their fan base's easy to be a great fan base when you are winning.  Shitdom couldn't happen to a "classier" bunch of fans.

It was 03, I was there too. It was incredible.

One of the better weekends of my life.  My buddy and I got tanked the night before the game and tried to take a heavy metal park bench back to our room in the Cornhusker only to get lost and wind up on the roof of the adjacent tower.  We sat in the park bench for a while enjoying the night sky, eventually got bored and threw the bench off the roof and went back to our room.  When we got up to go to the game we were walking thru the hotel and saw some orange cones in the middle of the lobby.  We looked up and the park bench was crashed thru a skylight hanging from the roof halfway into the lobby.   I haven't been back to Lincoln since.
Good lord

I couldn't watch the game.  I'm not smart enough on high lvl football defensive concepts anyway, so it probably wouldn't matter.

So, was there some type of defensive scheme that OU was doing that led our offense to continue to check in to the QB run?  If so, an example of the OU defensive coordinators recognizing they wanted Delton to run it and not Barnes and deliberately bating us into the checks we made.  That seems like the type of scheming we used to do...

Hell to the naw deep fried some chicken had a little gal over ran the sto to get a 2 liter diet dp, *deleted* and *deleted* got back and the little white gal eat a hole chicken. Man what gonna do with these white gals. I'm have think on this one the cakes was good but no chicken.

Not really sure what happened here.

Kansas State Football / Re: Is Texas going to hire John Currie?
« on: September 25, 2015, 12:17:15 PM »
People give Currie way too much credit for fundraising and building stuff. I mean our revenues have increased dramatically through tv deals and such, and coaches salaries at K-State have remained relatively the same. I mean freaking Iowa State was able to build onto their stadium. Has he done a good job with money, sure. But your main job is winning at basketball and football, something he has failed at 50%  rate.

I know!  Clearly no influence from Currie.  Look how KU has parlayed all that extra cash into new fac...oh wait.

Should we talk about Waters' sketti-shoulder?

Kansas State Football / Re: Waters
« on: October 07, 2014, 01:22:06 PM »
Serious question _fan, why does this offense "feel" bad? The stats show that it's pretty decent, but nearly every drive leaves a bad taste in my mouth. There is something unfulfilling. It's possible that it's just I don't like waters, but I don't think that's it. All of Kleins 15 minute drives were more exciting to me.

I have no idea.

The top 20 numbers for efficiency I posted only include our FBS games as well, so Stephen F Austin is not included.

The yards per play numbers aren't as good this year (like #33 or something at 6.1 YPP) and we're not quite as explosive, but as long as the efficiency numbers stay solid we're going to win games.

As a fan of your fan analysis, are you considering doing them this year?  Did you notice the play at 13:50 in the 3rd qtr against Tech?  It got blown up, but seemed like a new formation that I don't recall seeing.  Later in the game, they ran a similar formation, minus the motion.  Is that new to others as well?
