It's going to be the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act all over again.

Prob belongs in the MAGA thread but holy crap with these people. This person is a state Supreme Court justice. It’s just unreal that there are people like this at that level.

its not bribery if you don't actually pay
I think the courts are calling that tipping now, anyway.
elon is making sure those idiots who agreed to do his bidding are getting just the tip
its not bribery if you don't actually pay
Atlanta Fed saying Q1 saw a -3.8% GDP. White House adviser Hassett says Q1 is going to be 2-2.5% GDP growth.
Seems like Hassett might be lying to run cover until the last minute so that Dipshit can eff off his agenda and eff us right up until the last second.
Admittedly, I am not an economist, but can someone tell me how common it is that the White House economic adviser is off by 5.8-6.3%, let alone positive vs actual negative?

If he pays organizations that pay thugs to burn and destroy, why isn't Soros being brought up on RICO charges?
I agree. Why hasn't Soros been brought up on charges?
Also, John Rich might be onto something. lol
Maybe in addition to punishing regime enemies, this DOGE stuff is actually about stripping funding out of government programs to finance tax cuts for the plutocrats?
YOU GUYS AREN'T MY TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC MY TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC IS SINGLE ISSUE VOTERS BUT EITHER WAY I'LL HAPPILY COLLECT THAT COOL MILLION DOLLARS FROM YOU EVERY YEAR AND DEPENDING ON HOW SMOKING HOT YOUR WIFE IS I MIGHT EXERCISE MY RIGHT TO DO STUFF WITH HER
I don't think I would vote for BAC
I am fascinated by the mindsight that says that if you work in the Federal sector or if you have a contract to support the Federal sector, that you'll have a job forever and ever, and that contracts will never be cancelled and will go on into perpetuity.
Meanwhile, we've got a Federal Government that's $37 trillion dollars in debt, will spend $2 Trillion just on interest alone this FFY, and just went through the first quarter of FFY'25 (which started before Trump) borrowing an all time record level of money for a single quarter.
Meanwhile in the private sector contracts get cancelled, projects cancelled, budgets reduced, priorities changed, people laid off etc. etc. All day - every day
Maybe so, but I won't be concerned until he goes into ICU and doesn't tell anybody and doesn't set up any sort of back up or engage the normal chain of command and fails to inform the CinC that he might be indisposed for a bit
The courts do not have jurisdiction over the power that is granted to the Chief Executive.
More LOL’able is (once again) watching #blueanon/#blueanongE line up to protect non US citizens who are some of the worst people on the planet doing harm in our country.
It doesn’t get any more #blueanon than that
