i haven't found the 1:15minutes to set aside in my busy day to listen to the above average amateur podcast.
Yet you want the exact same people to post a UNT scouting report? :dunno:
It's a little different. Type out some quick tips, points of emphasis. Beat writers, sports journalists and pundits love to rehash their tidbits. Why only say it once?

Plus it's rough ridin' one day until the biggest tournament I've ever been apart of in my ksu fan days. Forgive my enthralledness.

Feel free to discuss North Texas and their team's style at anytime fellas. I've been waiting patiently for a couple days to read something, but it seems you're more innersted in the media infatuation with the powercats.

Seriously what tempo, what tendencies, what players, what do we expose, how do we win and most importantly, who do they compare with in other teams we've played?

* Strong but small point guard
* Big dude down low
* Smaller yet stronger forwards

What else?

Holy Karimi! I always thought Felix Rex was Steve Dave and Steve Dave was just some dude who was vaguely familiar.

It was only yesterday when Steve Dave and I used to sit in Pats discussing sports wagering and life. That was 7 years ago.

nope

Baffled. Just plain baffled.

The Dobermans plus Gus equals love at first sight type of romance. Denis may cause Gus to die with his 3 point display.

Some of you fella's have tremendous sarcastic abilities and I find it hard to adequately gauge your true feelings. Which is why whoever said that "American Ninja" and/or 3 ninjas was the "best" ninja movies of all time is flat out false.

Revenge of the Ninja http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086192/ is by far the most elite ninja movie ever crafted. At least on American soil. It's on another plane of ninja eliteness.

I really enjoy watching the old '80's versions of ninja/karate movies in my spare time. Sometimes if my satelite dish is tilted correctly, I can catch on older Hong Kong produced karate movie and delve deeper into my inner warrior.

But, there's really nothing that compares to oscar Lee. His presense and air about him just oozes elite. Anyone who says oscar isn't the best is just flat wrong and fooling themselves.

Essentially Flyertalk / oscar Lee re-evaluation?
« on: February 16, 2010, 09:41:23 AM »
In a very dogmatic manner, I've always considered oscar Lee to be the best. Jackie Chan came around and was more about stunt fighting with chairs and using props. But I always knew oscar could dominate Jackie. Jet Li showed up on the big screen and kicked Mel Gibson and Danny Glover around pretty good. Jet seemed like an efficient warrior. But oscar would out smart Jet and probably take his knees out early in the fight.

Now we've got this MMA stuff with Kimbo Slice and all sorts of meth addicted "crazies" running around. I'm not so sure oscar Lee could take out some of these lunatics. These guys would fight dirty and probably trick oscar into a trap. I'm not saying I like the MMA stuff at all. I despise the trash of the world who wear "tapout" or "affliction" stuff. These people are borderline immoral  to me. And maybe I'm afraid of them too and that's why I question my thinking that oscar Lee is the baddest sonofabitch out there.

Could oscar Lee win the MMA title and would he have to learn a new style of fighting to do so?

"K-State defensive coordinator Chris Cosh is heading up recruitment of Starling for the Wildcats. "

Does anybody see a potential problem with this situation? Maybe Bill is using this as a teaching element for Cosh.  :dunno:

Mad Max and the road warriors. I forget who lost this week, does anybody think we creep into the top 10? I say yes due to earlier attrition and other team's losses. What say you?

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / The Future
« on: February 03, 2010, 11:07:18 PM »
I know there are specific threads addressing this very topic. Want I would like to see in a discussion thread is our program's future.

Stuff like player potential in one year and 2 years. Stuff like will the big 12 schedule more big mondays for the ksu wildcats? Will the coaches/media rank us top 3 next year? What do potential recruits offer the squad? Does dalonte keep the pipeline going?

Basically, I want to further my excitement level in regards to ksu basketball.

Ratatat - "Wildcat" should be played at all basketball home games in the 'ood
Kingsbury Manx - "Pageant Square"
El Ten Eleven
Unwed Sailor
Mogwai

Amanda Arnold elitist right here. I was there the day we voted on the school mascot. Panda's forever!

sidenotes: Lee school was where the "brothers" came to play. TJ Marshall was even spotted shooting J's there once. This is where you went to grow chest hair and earn your street cred.

* I didn't even know Bluemont existed because it was so far away from my elitist backyard.
* Eugene Field was where the weirdos and smart people went. Great layout for playground purposes, but it's not like any athletes went there.
* Marlatt was legit, but so 80's.
* Northview people were from another county. Never even met these peeps until 7th grade.

random f*cking post. but yeah i had basketball practice there all throughout my 10U travelling basketball season. smelled like school food.
:nono:
I wasn't talking about the inside gym. I'm strictly talking about the outside playground court. The full court version with 8 ft rims.... where us youngsters pretended to be Scott Skiles and John Paxsonsss

8 foot rims. Full court. Sucked when the ball rolled down the hill. 60% chance you'd get there and one of the rims was bent, because some over zealous and over aged 8th grader hung on the rim too long.

I loved me some Lee School pickup games in the summer.....
