Really hope the movement to pull Tate Snyder's redshirt takes off. Could really use an outstanding athlete like him on the field this year.

06 sometimes I feel your wit and humor go unappreciated on this board and it makes me

tempted to make a predicto like I did in the OSU/LALA game but the ole ball coach seems to have Bama on the ropes.  Their latest three game stretch consists of Arkansas, Florida, and SC I think they can survive this loss if it happens.

Kansas State Football / Re: Prince was Snyder's fault.

I get the "with great compensation comes great expectations", believe me I do.  But I would argue that LHC Bill Snyder is the most exploited, underpaid coach in the history of college football.  Keep reading:  remember when Michael Jordan was paid $32M per season, he was WAYYYY underpaid based on what he meant to the league.  They should have paid him $200M.  Same with Snyder.  I'm guessing that the return on the monies we've paid to LHC Bill Snyder over the years would make Warren Buffett look like an incompetent fool.  Would you disagree?  I'm happy to pay Bill a handsome annuity for the rest of his days for what he's done for KSU, because trust me, he's more than earned it.  Before Bill KSU was headed to Division 2, there was talk of abandoning football....if you are old enough, you remember.  We had NO expectations.  We thought Snyder was a FOOL to think he could builid a winning program.  What do you think our average attendance was?  Where was our enrollment?  More importantly, what has LHC Bill Snyder's resurrection of our football program meant to our enrollment?  You are a smart person, I read (most) of your analytical posts.  Can you truly argue this?  Even if you think that he's overpaid at THIS POINT IN TIME, can't you at least agree that he's more than earned that opportunity?

So you are saying Bill has more than earned the right to piss away the success that he created?  We all appreciate what Bill did for the program, he just can't run it forever.  I have no problem with how much he is being paid right now, but he should step aside after this year to allow the program to put together long term solutions for continued success.  I'm sure some would love to see him forced out/ fired etc for closure but I for one hope it ends with him realizing it is time to go for good.  I can see it getting messy like Bowden at FSU though.

I though KU won their last game.  New Mexico State?

You can't make this kind of stuff up, sometimes it is hard to believe.

endless lol at people that graduated from ksu and public schools railing against paying too many taxes once they had their fill from the tit.

Oh crap.... and I just flushed my toilet and it went through a taxpayer funded sewer system!   :flush:

seriously though, why does the amount that you're taxed "get your goat" as much as it does? some of you guys seem to be almost consumed by it. i don't get it.

let's make a list of things the government does better or more efficiently than the private sector.

Kansas State Football / Re: We'll be fine without Koenning.
« on: October 09, 2010, 12:15:41 PM »
JT is such a powerespect like OMG

he just doesn't get it so since i'm a young hipster EMAWin former sec17er i'll lay it out for him

LHC Bill Snyder (OB's, Snyds, and various other euphemisms) has no ability to manage a qb situation and clearly plays CCQ (that means Carson Coffman for you powertards, clever huh) because he is a racist (so what if he has recruited two african american qb's this year) and has no understanding of what it takes to win a football game.

Vic Koening is like a god and was destined to be the savior of all things K-STATEO (god it is so cool to be condescending) until he betrayed us and left for a roster with actual DI football players.   Sure he was only our co-coordinator but he clearly like did all the good stuff and like Cosh clearly was responsible for all the bad junk, duh.  Sure TT scored 63 points but that was like way early and all the players fault and stuff.  I mean sure both games were played in week 6 and Nebraska scored less points and is in the top 10 but what happened yesterday was all like scheme and formation (i'm not sure what this means but Dax said it so it's true).

Chris Cosh is like totally sucky sure he has worked for some great programs and coaches but like i'm pretty sure that fat guy from Maryland said something bad about him onetime, so he sucks.  Furthermore unlike Vik (as CNS so astutely pointed out) Cosh doesn't have to play with crapty (is this proper hipster spelling i get confused and really really want to fit in) RP players, you Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) (sorry Mrs. Palin).  Cosh's D is loaded with like great players and stuff but is hamstrung by all the schemey formation stuff.  Sure were 4-1 but our defense like has nothing to with it and stuff.

Dana Dimel is like totally crapty too and stuff.  Like he is such a powerespect and not good at coaching and things.  I mean so what if he had a better record at Wyoming than Vik, big deal that doesn't mean anything.  I mean Dana never once did anything near as sweet as Vik, hell Dana doesn't even have the balls to make up false promises of commitment from imaginary unnamed players (cause like that is what great coaches do silly powerespect).

Del Miller is like old and junk and so he must be bad and stuff.

In conclusion maybe JT you just need to pull your head out and realize that our coaching staff is like really bad at their jobs (i mean like duh they are totally getting pwned on the bbs's by a bunch of accoutants, middle management, and twentysomethings).  I mean sure while we are 4-1 and are still in position to make a bowl game with a roster full of RP's crapty players that's like not the point man.

crap piss ass foooock *

(* fixed for Michigan Cat's approval :crossfingers:)

OMG...are u calling out the great and almighty MC, OK Cat & Kouger or whatever?
this could get interesting. :woot:

making up jobs for people who bbs is my favorite "go to" for people who don't have an actual opinion on things. very lol. it was decent until that.  :flush:

Damn, BSAC is Big Shot Accountant Cat?  I felt like the theme at this place was ATTORNEY driven.

It appears defense is no longer a necessary requirement for big 12 teams.  Aside from maybe the top three everyone looks soft as hell on D.

OSO is going to score 28+ points in the second half, the final score won't be close

30386
I hate to say it but DT might already be worn down by sheer number of carries.
we have ridden him so hard its not fair.  Powell looks great in there, when he gets in.  Way to go old balls.

Oklahoma has abused Murray with 130 carries but Thomas is a close second with 127.  Only six backs in the entire country have 100 or more carries.  We are going to either break him or damage him beyond repair.

What exactly is a "bend but don't break" scheme?  It seems like it means "suck but then stop sucking when the opposing team gets to the red zone".

In technical terms, what are we talking about here?

Bend but don't break isn't a strategy as much as it is just  a description of a poor defense that attempts to just not give up the big play in hopes of the other team beating themselves (fumble, penalty, turnover etc.)  It is probably one of the most heart wrenching things to watch as a fan.

Wow, it is good to see at least a few people haven't lost their crap over last night in terms of perspective.  Count on that Nebraska team making nearly every team in the big 12 this year look like complete garbage.

The only shot we have going forward is to stand martinez up in a pile and break his leg.  With hrebec, hartman and crew that doesn't seem very likely.

One day someone will Tiller this guy and/or his family.
Doubtful.  It's a pretty large family/cult.

Don't know much about them other than they operate a church in Topeka, where does all their money come from? Do they run guns and sell meth or some crap?
