If I have to tell you, it's a lot less fun.

But go ahead and ignore that you once too posted "there", now how is that different from me?  Because you were banned and I chose to leave because it sucked?  Thats the only difference I see, but POOF, I'm with Fitzy... genius  :notworthy:

Yes, I posted on gopowercat. And loved every second of it.

Anything else?

Let's be friends. OK?

Man, you are abrasive, lol.

My point is, it's stupid for people here to bash on other people for posting there, because 90% of us did it...  and we're all morons.

so, am I not a moron because I never posted there....    does that go both ways?   :dunno:

Wow, nothing like pointing out a grammar mistake... and being the one that's wrong...

Naw, pretty sure it's whom's.

Nope, "whose" is a possessive pronoun.  It needs to possess something.  Like another noun.

you people are f'ing idiots.  If the defense got as better, year from year, as Josh did from his freshman year, we'd be playing today.  completely f'ing idiots.  It's tough to "lead" a team when the OL sucks complete donkey d*ck, you have no running back, and your defense has the resistancy of air.
Michael Bishop was a "leader" because he had an NFL line in front of him, an NFL-caliber wide reciever, an NFL caliber RB, and a defense that was littered with NFL players.  Same for J. Beasley and E. Roberson.  f'ing idiots.  I mean, do you think D. Meier's problem was that he didn't have "fire"?  No, he had zero talent and so did the team around him.  Same for AE.  They had no talent, Josh does it's just a shame that no one else on the team does/did.

When did Josh make these great improvements?  His best record as a starter was his first season.  The best game I ever saw him play was his freshman year at CU when he was darn near perfect.  I think the only game winning TD drive he ever had and the only really memorable big play he ever had was in his career first start vs. OSU.

Josh has talent but  honestly I don't think he developed much at all during his career.  Sure he learned the offense better and learned to read defenses better but he never really learned to lead and never learned to win.  If anything he got worse as his career went along because the losses and turnovers got in his head and he was thinking too much, he was best his first year when he just went out and played.  ku fans will love this but I don't think he was ever the same after the game in Lawrence his freshman year when he turned it over like 6 times or whatever it was.  From that game on Josh kind of froze in the bigger games and was turnover prone.   The same kind of thing happened to Chase Daniel this year he was never the same after the loss to Okie State.

were you even paying attention?  he couldn't play every goddamn position.  was he perfect?  no, but he made improvements, no one else did.

Thank you.

I get so fracking tired of hearing "he never learned how to lead" or "he doesn't know how to win." What the frack do you expect him to do? Give an inspiring speech in the huddle? Tell the guys, "Hey, lets try to WIN this one, got it?"

Freeman improved. The wins did not, but that the TEAM'S fault, not fracking Freeman's.

It's Freemans fault for thinking he's better off spending a year getting dominated in the NFL than studying under Snyder.

Q: Why would spending a year playing Snyder's non-NFL system where he could potentially get hurt and then going in a draft class with many more good qbs and then getting paid significantly less because of the new agreement be better for Freeman?

A: It wouldn't.

So is like Freeman the Most Hated Cat of All Time (MHCOAT) now?

Doubtful.

But what most others realize that many of you don't, is that you'll always be referring to 'potential' when remembering Josh Freeman. But the actual reality that we've all witnessed was a quarterback that had a size and build for it, but was mediocre even at his best and a colossal frack-up under pressure. And thats after all this 'massive improvement' from his freshman year.

He's like a Jason Bennett. Except you actually put all your eggs into the basket and instead of acknowledging the reality of his ineptitude, you persist into delusional fantasies that with a good team around him he would have been great.

He was lazy. He was narcissistic. And he wasn't a good quarterback.

i hate days like this

JFC what is wrong with you Freeman nutswingers?  How many of those awesome TDs in his last year came against teams like LaLa TECH, a game which he helped to almost blow!

What the hell do you think an NFL coach is going to do when Freems gets into a division game and pisses down his leg?  He couldnt win against teams he saw the most often and fell apart in ALL of those games.  You dont go 0-6 against the same teams unless you are a &@#%ing pussy who has a coach jerking you off on the sidelines calling everyone around you a TP/FP and you can do no wrong.  Snyder probably told that pussy that who ever comes in will get a shot to take his spot and he knew he would be warming the &@#%ing bench from them on.

    Fear the Brick
The one year KSU went to a bowl it had, by no coincidence, the best defense over the past 5 years...but it was the year Josh had the worst statistics.....so WTF does that tell you?  If the defense was giving up 23ppg (like it did in '06) instead of 30+ ppg like it had in '07 and '08, Freeman would have "magically" been a leader.

the dude wants to get paid, what the hell did you expect him to do? his stock is going to rise incredible amounts in the next few months when the combine and pro days roll around. it honestly wouldn't surprise me if Freeman was a first round pick just because of his measurables. do I honestly think he will be? hell no, it wouldn't shock me if it did happen though.

Good luck to Freem and all that obligatory :kstatriot: BS............

I just can't help but think how fun it would be to be our biggest Rivals for a day and have our amazing, record setting, cool named, first round draft pick, junior quarterback announce that he was coming back to school next year for his senior season.

An EMAW can only dream of such a ridiculous day................

Freeman, Jordy, Sproles, Newman, etc. are dead to me right now.  Don't wish any harm on them just don't care one way or another.  I'm an EMAW'r not an ex-EMAW'r.  I really hate the "look how good Sproles is doing" type threads.  Unless they are bringing positive attention to KSU (they don't) then I could care less.

Nothing to do with anything, really, but my grandpa is convinced that Chris Canty of the Dallas Cowboys is our Chris Canty.

Old people are great.  I've considered keeping some sort of journal on the funny k-state related things that my gramps says.

You should look into joining GoPowercat.  You would go through a lot of journals, though.

Freeman should have spent more time running the offense and less time running Tri Delt trains while he was here.

Some would argue that your logic is skewed...

TriDelt trains and a 2nd rd. draft pick, seems to be doing fine by me...

There will probably be a free board still.

A free board that will be desolate and abandoned once a new site with only a free board is found and is worthy.

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70
