On a side note, I'm really looking forward to watching Carson Coffman get coached up to a Div-1 quarterback next season.

think Chad May.

I mean, with the type of coaches we have possible Grahm Harrell/Tim Tebow ish.

Without the million dollar arm and cockyish attitude.

He's basically like a giant piece of marble just waiting to get carved into a masterpiece.  And Bill Snyder is the Michelangelo that's going to make it happen.

What was the latest news on Daniel Thomas making it to manhattan? He could run the option since he was a QB in juco. :dunno:

What an absolute bust.  His entire career, people were slobbing all over josh's knob about his "upside."
QFT glad to see him go honestly; this is more than likely one of the last times we hear from him for quite a while.

Dude's gonna get huge paychecks for his upside too.  Smart move.

He'll probably actually lose out on a couple million. If he stayed and played well he could have been a early first round pick, but i can't see him getting drafted in the first round right now. This will probably turn out like the bill walker situation with freemie ridding the pine for a couple years.

Lots of QB's ride the bench for a few seasons.
Yeah like matt ryan, joe flaco or projected Matt Stafford

Freeman sucks, he has sucked and will suck.  he has never been a good big game player.  The two UT wins were from other people making plays and him not hurting the team too much.

Ryan has great weapons and a good line, Flaco has a solid run game and good offensive line.

If Stafford goes to detroit/KC he will suck.

If he possesses it he still has it because he has never used it while at KSU

I was thinking more along the lines of Allen Evridge.

Freeman should have spent more time running the offense and less time running Tri Delt trains while he was here. That being said, I'm literally about to vomit thinking of Carson Coffman going under center next season.

-Freeman is a very good quarterback with great potential
-his head coach sucked
-he didn't have a defense
-he didn't have an Oline
-he didn't have a running game
-he was not pushed through competition while at KSU which that didn't help his college career but he's still a very good quarterback that was on a bad team
-thought he could have benefited from another season in college because he's not ready to play in the NFL but don't blame him a bit for leaving now
-it will be a dream to get back to rooting for dual threat QBs at KSU. Pro style QBs in the college game are for teams with 4-5 star talent.

Show me defense.

We will have at least five. I say six but can see seven. If Coffman is the man we will be fine. And one of the others could surprise everyone. JF had never shown his potential so not sure why next year would be any different. Coffman showed confidence and leadership. Which wins more games than potential never realized.

Really . . . who gives a F-ck.

Good luck Josh, you were okay I guess, I know you probably didn't like the prospect of actually you know . . . having to work for your starting job, and maybe dealing with Old Ball's propensity to yank QB's when they throw interceptions and fumble the ball and the offense isn't moving.

Actually pretty smart on your part . . . your coddled life at KSU was over, and it's best to go earn some jack and hold a clipboard.

3 wins tops for KSU next year.

dude that is seriously off base.  Flaco has been running the offense in Baltimore not just a shell to get them through.  He has shown to be a great passer and decision maker, both of which I hope we can agree Freeman isnt.  Ryan I will give you has a shell and not a full O to work with but has proven to be a great decision maker.  He is NOT hurting his team.   Once again Freeman couldnt keep himself from blowing a game (See all Big12North Games).  Ryan has a great vet running back in Dunn and a solid team, but by no means is that team "good".  They go rid of key vets (Crumpler) and have taken risks on unproven player.

I'm actually surprised that the freems backlash from the tards took so long.  GPC must have had a team powertard party last night and everyone is just now getting around.

Ryan Has the NFL's second leading rusher with almost 1700 yds dumbass.

Balt has the league's second best defense and was +13 give/take.
