If this indeed did happen I would have to say it is very, very disturbing. Doesn't Weiser have better and more important things to do than to worry about what fans say/think? The whole Bomar message board incident does make me want to give you the benefit of the doubt. This would make for a very interesting newspaper article, assuming once again it did in fact happen.
What's interesting about it? Weiser sacked some guy that was undermining everything (except hiring Eddie Fogler, apparantly) that the KSU athletic department did. And he was doing this publicly. Yes internet BBSs are a public forum. This wasn't just an occasional criticism. This was a constant barrage of e-mails and posts on GoPowercat and elsewhere that Weiser and his staff evidently felt warranted this action. We haven't seen his e-mails to the department or Wefald. All we have are posts from "poor Dax" that say "I didn't do anything wrong."

The only interesting thing that I could see come out of this is that I would like to hear the REAL reasons why they pulled his plug. I'd like to see his correspondence and hear the AD's side of Dax's actions. However, the nature of his posts elsewhere give me some idea of what he is capable of. I can only imagine how he acted. All Weiser did was make a decision to not to accept his business, based on his actions. Weiser believed that Dax's actions were a hindrance to the advancement of the department. Based on what I have seen and read, I agree. Like it or not, it's Tim Weiser's job to run KSU athletics and he is doing so in a manner that the vast majority believes to be excellent and professional.
All I can say is that anything that helps to keep a person like Dax from sitting next to me at a ball game is a good thing. All he does is constantly attmept to tear down what the professional, that my alma mater has hired, is trying to build. And Dax does all this to do nothing more than feed his own ego... to make himself feel important. Sad thing is, Dax is probably revelling in this whole thing. He probably is taking great joy in the fact that he has been disassociated saying. "Look at me!!

I'm important enough for Tim Weiser to notice me and disassociate me from KSU athletics!!" Such a sad

life, if that is true.
