There needs to be a 2012 recruiting thread.Frank and Brad Underwood were in Wichita last night to see Perry Ellis. Apparently, Underwood has been a mainstay here, attending an "intra-squad" scrimmage last week as well.

does this mean that ku can no longer make fun of kentucky's recruiting tactics?
mention here that isu commit, wesley staten, was recruited (still is being recruited?) by ksu.http://iowapreps.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=1571&tid=119902578&mid=119902578&sid=978&style=2
Wesley chose a great school in ISU. He will be great there. Coach McDermott got a great player when taking Wesley. Just think of that cyclone team when Wesley is a freshmen...Chris Colvin and if somehow coach mac can pull Mr. Barns from Ames High that team right there would be an NCAA team for sure and look for that team to build off of that and keep that going in Ames..Good Choice wesley!
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board. way better than oxlp956
Perry will be on campus on February 14th.

What's so impressive about this kid? He's big, runs the floor and takes contact. I wonder why, cause he's frigging bigger than all the kids. This kid needs to transfer. Kansas high school bball sucks anyways.

Ellis did know one thing for sure about K-State after the game."I like the atmosphere a lot and I would like playing in it," he said.

congrats to Perry and the rest of the heights team. i remember being a junior and playing against what was supposed to be heights best team ever. they were ranked #2 in the nation in the usa today poll. they didn't meet expectations that year but were still stacked. the guy that made it farthest off that team was darren driefort. would like to see how that heights team would stack up w this one.
