Update on Perry Ellis.... "He's still good."  Nothing else.    

Didn't pry beyond that.  I did hear that Chuck Long has been at some Bishop Carroll bball games taking a look at Blake Bell though.

What are his thoughts on the way Bill Self continually craps on his recruits the second someone he even thinks is better comes along?  Releford, Little, Taylor, etc.

Kentucky and Kansas State plan to send coaches to watch Perry Ellis today in Heights' quarterfinal game at the Dodge City tourney.

Bet it's smelly underwood.  A clear call for more money.

Jordan Goodman's advisor, Joe Boncore, on Goodman's game

"Boncore also coaches Jordan Goodman, a 6-9 sophomore shooting guard whom he called “the next Michael Beasley.”

Georgetown, Kentucky, Kansas State and UCLA are among the schools that are already on his radar."

Shades of Art? More than likely but I think the impressive list of schools after him says a lot about his game.

This tidbit was buried in an update about Moses Abraham, who we don't seem much of a shot at at this point.

Goodman goes for 18 in a loss to another private school in the DC area. Bruce Pearl and Tony Bennett(UVA coach) were both there, there were several DI prospects in this game so can't specifically say who they were watching.

Sounds like Goodman is almost a done deal to G'town. Obviously, there will be other prospects that will emerge for us in this class but Goodman is considered to be a Top 50 kid in the class of '12 and I was hoping the DCA connection might give us an edge. Damn.

Per Scout, Goodman has committed to G'town. In the update, Goodman mentioned his good relationship with G'town assistant David Cox as being the primary reason for his decision. Scout still has Goodman as Class of '11, don't know what's up with that.
