Recruiting Talking Points for Our Entire Coaching Staff
« Reply #875 on: January 21, 2011, 03:24:41 PM »
"You want to play on television? I can remember when I bought my wife her first television. It wasn't as fancy as what you can get at the market today."

"Speak up, boy."

"I was coaching when JFK got shot."

"Nice weather we're having. It's supposed to get cold tomorrow."

"Well, I'd better get on the road so I can get home before it gets dark."

Ah yes, the future is bright in the KSU secondary.  2 star juco CB's be on alert...Tom Hayes is coming for you.

Are the Tulane fans torn up 'bout this on their board?  Are there any left after Katrina?

It's typical powerespect'em  they cannot stand and will never stand for anyone pointing out the issues that Snyder has.

In their world it has been and will never be LHC Bill Snyder's fault on anything, but then they'll happily rare up in puffed chest shirt tuck bravado to tell you all about how LHC Bill Snyder has complete control of the situation.

The next question now becomes, who will be the dynamic recruiter(s) that K-State football needs badly??

Recruiters?  Recruiting?  Who says recruiting is a problem?  Snyder never won with 5* talent before.  Plus, more importantly, trival things like rankings and stars don't matter anyway.

Next.

Shut up

http://kansasstate.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=419&tid=141529530&mid=141529530&sid=889&style=2

what's this all about?

Can't read. Elaborate, please.

We all know Snyder is very loyal to his coaches. With the unofficial word that Coach Mo is coming back, think about this. If Coach brings in a new defensive staff, he has to give them 2-3 years to show what they can do.

What if Coach does not want to stay that long? Sean comes in and takes the offensive opening, Coach brings in Hayes, an older guy more than likely willing to come for 1 year.

Coach retires after next season, a new coach comes in. thoughts?

Quote
I've been meaning to post some similar thoughts. Especially with Hayes' hiring, this has the look/feel of just trying to keep a staff together for a short time. I half wonder if Leavitt has been told the job is his in a year or two. I actually doubt this is the case but I suspect that ADJC is involved in some serious game planning here on our football program.

This one made me lol:

What about this thought: Snyder doesn't know when he's going to retire and went out and found the best assistant coach he could find.

Yeah didn't those retards learn the first time?  He has no kind of exit/succession plan.  Seems like Seany would have a better chance of surviving a HC change if left as DoFO than to be put on the 9 man staff only to be whacked by the next guy. If he can get more $ for Seany...now that would be in Bill's wheel house.

Snider seriously considering hanging it up Feburary 1st. He's apparently fed up working with Cosh.

Hopefully Curry steps in soon.

LOL, if he'd rather quit than fire Cosh, he'd better never, ever set foot in one of those "leadership" or "mentors" organizations again.  That can't possibly be true....Snyder isn't that cowardly is he?

Cripps is now saying that while this is inaccurate his sources are saying something "similar."  I think both are bullcac.

I'd be fine with this.  Leach can fire Cosh.  I can take over for OBz in most of the mentor program roles.

Yeah. Makes absolutely no logical sense whatsoever. If Bill is really this stupid and/or scared of hurting someone's feelings, you have to start wondering if he went senile sometime recently. There's just no other explanation for it.

I think this is just some quality BBS'ing to rile up the tards. More than likely Bill just thinks that he needs to coach up the defense and demand that Cosh works harder on his schemes and being a better coach ( ) during the offseason

Maybe Bill just doesn't know he can fire people.  What if Weiser never explained that to him and then Currie just kinda assumed Bill knew what he was doing?

Cripps is full of cac.

All idiocy aside, Snyder wouldn't waste the time of formally hiring Hayes if he was quitting in a couple weeks.
