He built the laundry room literally on the back deck, so these pipes just have some batt insulation between them and the outside world. I don't know if you'd want to put these in the wall.

Yes, the entire Alma metroplex was without power for a little while but came back on around 1:25.  Per my inside source Evergy is shutting off power every 8 hours for 30 minutes at a time.

that's pretty ridiculous.  you would think that wolf creek nuclear plant could just add more electrons to the wires and have enough energy for every kansan who wants it.   is this just another example of evergy being cheap again?

Nah, it's all the southwest power pool, it is though evergy being dumb and having more plants/units out of operation than they should have.

I'd foam the cavity. Batt sucks when it's compressed behind pipes.

Can I put pipe sleeve insulation over what I can get to or is that asking for trouble?

Not an issue. Seal the sleeve with tape when you're done. You want to keep air from moving across the pipe.
