Allen was named a 1st team AA, our first since 2009. Baseball powerhouse Wichita State's catcher O'Brien was also on the first team, their first since 1999. That's pretty funny.

The CWS as its covered today can essentially turn into a multi-day infomercial for the participating schools.

At this juncture I am pretty ready to see women's basketball dropped at K-State and replaced by a less expensive women's sport and then see the multi-million dollar losses of women's basketball moved over to baseball. It will never happen I know, but it would be worth it to try IMO.

Thoughts:

-WTF are we doing with a 2 for 1 with the cornheads? That better get rectified next year, NU's baseball program has quickly become garbage the past few years

-KU is a garbage program that doesn't deserve an out-of-conference road trip from our batquatz. Currie, please change this before the season starts.

-Cali trips are good for recruiting and preventing snow-outs. San Diego is relatively weak and should be good for an early win, SDSU should be a good test.

we do use nike bats

I seem to remember a lot of top cap pop offs and odd "tings" from what seemed like solid contact.
