I had no idea that actual college-aged kids went to school at WSU and did college-y type stuff until tonight.

Yeah but most of them are homely and live with their parents.

Most of them don't/didn't go to school there.  Just come out for the party.  There has always been a small handful of kids that actually go to school there that try to treat it like a real college and real college experience, but deep down they know the truth.

I saw kids walking over from across the street from dorms/frats with cheap beer.  Got the impression it was a somewhat routine happening for games.  Also saw a kid driving away from campus with a car completely full of stuff jdagg-style as if he was driving home (like somewhere not in Wichita) for the summer.  :dunno:

Of course, the majority of them brought a few EMAW friends who are already home for the summer from real school.

The first game of the uk series is supposed to be televised tonight. Anyone know of a interweb link that would stream it? I can't get that KC station in NC even with the sports package on DTV. I would like to see at least one game of the series where we destroy any hopes of post season...
Much appreciated-

Quite the contrary.  Martini was hit by the pitch.  Tied @ 10, bottom of 10.

Not a pretty game by either side but it was very entertaining.  The kind of game even a non-fan/chick would enjoy watching.  Gotta win 1 of the next 2 to qualify for the conference tornament.  1 win in that likely puts us back in the NCAAs for a 3rd straight year.  The Brad Hill haters are clearly victims of an old fashioned Brad Hill mom sexing or just regular retards.

eff that was a game to kill the nerves.  Atmosphere was great the last couple innings.  Good win for the cats, a moral victory that was a victory.  This is the kind of game that creates coach speak.

KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue

We successfully got KU's assistant coach to tell us to "shut the eff up" in the middle of the game. Classy bunch!
