Just trying to stir the pot here, but what would you rather have? 6 players run off by frank but we keep Upshaw or the team all stays (Including #teamangel) and we heisman a top 110 PG who wanted to come here really bad after we hired Weber? Both situations blow balls.

Both coaches make the tournament this season. Frank still has his team making the tournament 3 years from now. Weber will not.

If Orris joins this team in lieu of Gray, I will join #teamburnitdown faster than a Spradling jump shot rims out.

and just like said rim out, the set up leading to that point will have taken too long and won't be pretty.

If we do take Orris over Gray, then that will be about the most SLTH thing I could ever imagine.

Just don't go there oscar.

Wasn't our Orris connection the coach that just went to SMU?

Yeah, Howard was his "lead recruiter".

FWIW though, Orris is still mentioning KSU in his updates. Update from Pitt site posted yesterday linked below.

I think it's more likely that oscar is a coward that didn't want to run someone.

it's stupid to focus on the not kicking current guys out.  that's probably a good decision.  focus on taking the midmajor pf instead of the pg.  that's where the retardation enters (and i don't even think gray is that good).

oscar's retardation is definitely a multi-headed beast.

Next class's recruiting should be entertaining at very least.

Especially when Weber said early that the recruiting focus was a face up post. Instead they got a defensive post with very limited offensive game. And who may or may not turn out to be better than a Mo Valley caliber player.

He's been associated with Michael Orris far longer than anyone currently on this roster.

Manbeck:.

Cole Manbeck ? @Cole_Manbeck
Just spoke with Scott Lidskin, the AAU coach of K-State recruit Michael Orris. Not enough for a story so I'll just tweet what I have.

Cole Manbeck ? @Cole_Manbeck
Lidskin on Orris: "K-State is very interested in him and he's very interested in K-State but that is pretty much the extent of it right now"

Cole Manbeck ? @Cole_Manbeck
Regarding a KSU offer: "They’ve never said anything about it. They just said there’s mutual interest but there’s nothing there right now."

Cole Manbeck ? @Cole_Manbeck
In summary: Orris doesn't have an offer from K-State, and Lidskin doesn't know if one will ever come (a current player would have to leave)

Yeah, he really worked himself out of a pickle with those tweets.

If he keeps it up, I'll go back to not hoping she leaves him at the alter.

Cole just living the life of a journalist in today's crazy modern world.  It's not as cut and dry as it used to be.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

I'm just happy and proud for Cole.  He could have sat on this until he had more information to share, but he didn't.

And that's a pretty dangerous proposition in today's crazy world of journalism.  If he release the names, now everyone knows. Not just fans and readers, but reporters and other writers, who no matter if they're friends or not, are competition.

Brian Gates used Cole's tweets that included not enough information for a write up to somehow compose a write up.  Used a lot of filler and an enormous picture of the kids face to fill out the page.
