Who was recruiting this kid and why wasn't he locked down with a school already? I guess I forgot how we had an in the first place and why he was still around to recruit in the spring.

He was a Mississippi State commit. They're coach retired and he decommited recently.

Plus I'm sure oscar has better things to do than call every recruit to tell them our scholarships are all taken. He's just being great at time management.

Doesn't it seem likely that he only got angel to stay by assuring him he wouldn't recruit a pg in this class? I guess its just as likely that he doesn't have the stones to run omari or thought gray wasn't good enough though.

Disappointing.

It would seem if you can increase the talent in your program you find a way to do it. If you have to help a current player find a new home, so be it. Especially when the player you are after apparently wants to come to your program.

Next year he better sign a really good PG and Weber just put an enormous amount of pressure on himself and his staff (wheover that ends up being).

no, that seems Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). I doubt angel gives a eff if oscar recruited another PG or not. I think it's more likely that oscar is a coward that didn't want to run someone.

Just trying to stir the pot here, but what would you rather have? 6 players run off by frank but we keep Upshaw or the team all stays (Including #teamangel) and we heisman a top 110 PG who wanted to come here really bad after we hired Weber? Both situations blow balls.
