UW/SD can one of you make me feel better and just tell me already, that we're bringing in a DITR?   :excited:

Some other familiar names in the link below:

"Darrell Johnson (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway North) – Johnson is fresh off a visit to Virginia Tech last weekend and is mulling a trip to Memphis this weekend. Alabama and Kansas State have also expressed interest in the 6-foot-8, 220 pound power forward. Averaging 16 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior at Parkway North, Johnson can bring a physical presence to the interior."

I can't really give Johnson DITR status just yet. He told Nebraska(post Doc) "Thanks but no thanks" so that's a bonus there, it sorta sounds like Memphis and Alabama has been stringing him along.

He sounds OK though, I like him better than the annual Spring JC grab, we'll see what happens.

Gonzaga has sent ex-Blanchard star Ryan Spangler's transfer papers to 5 schools: Tulsa, ORU, OU, K-State, Arkansas. bit.ly/IugSEk

FWIW, Spangler is visiting OU this weekend.

I would assume that we'd have a fighting chance in this group.

When was the last time we won a PG/SG recruiting war against Mike Anderson?  Answer: Never Infinity.

Spanger is a forward.  He's not a guard.

He looks like he's got some serious and potentially big-time game.

Would definitely take.

Would definitely help fill the void IF/when Angel leaves us.
Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Devon Walker, not really relevant anymore, but in the end it was just a matter of Beal going pro and Billy D saying "OK, we'll take you now."

Memphis offer ?!

Quote from:  Bossi
Was just coming by to post he's visiting. I've not seen him since last summer and thought he was a bubble mid/high major prospect. I don't think a few of those reported offers are valid (particularly Alabama) but if a kid says he has them then maybe he does.

He should have been in system as a three-star but is now. I'm kind of surprised they are bringing somebody in, that wasn't the plan as of early this week.

Myself and a few others have been mentioning that it's not likely Chatkevicius makes his way to Manhattan.

I wish Bossi would post here.  We have a much better appreciation for basketball and basketball recruiting

He kind of does.  Anything he writes gets posted here, and of course, he reads the crap out of this place.

Yeah, I thought I read somewhere that Underwood was sorta the orchestrator of that Litho/MOKAN pipeline(maybe it was from Bossi). Hope that's it more than anything.

I think it's fair to say that Moose never would have been any good here, anyway. Ice cream is the last thing that guy needs if he's ever going to be good at the college level.
