Possible silver lining, Monteverde is where Kasey Hill will be playing ball this year(along with a slew of other prospects that I'm too lazy to look up right now). Are we still in the hunt? :crossfingers:*

Now that Kevin Boyle is running the show down there, I'm sure we'll own it. Own it.*

Re: Macon.

No doubt he's already a player and has the potential to get even better but it sounds like grades could be an issue. In that latest update, he says he might make a spring decision, could be related to the grades. We'll see if he can get the schoolwork shored up at Huntington Prep this year and, well, we all know what happens at KSU in the spring time.

Canadian Nick Wiggins being recruited by K-State, PSU, FSU & C. Michigan.

a new name.  seems like he was originally an '10, reclassed to '11, and now at juco (wabash valley, i believe).  canadian, but played hs in florida, father played in the nba.

Wiggins put up some solid #'s last yr as a FR at Vincennes(IN): 16.7 pts, 4 rebs, 2 asts, 47%FG, 40%3FG. All indications are that he will play this year at Wabash Valley(IL)

1 other thing, his little bro sounds like a decent player too.*

Seems a bit early to be going after these Canadian types, doesn't it?  Or do we just recruit dudes like this all along in case all other options don't pan out?

Don't let Juevol ruin your impression of Canadian ballers.

Steve Nash, Andy Rautins, Jamal Magloire, Tristan Thompson, Cory Joseph. Guys like Myck Kabongo, Nick Stauskas, and Anthony Bennett are poised to make a splash in college hoops in very near future.

Younger Wiggins is unanimously ranked #1 overall in '14 by all 3 services, probably for very good reason.

This UK site says Cauley isn't a top recruit, but one that's on their radar.

Perry Ellis has been in Wichita all weekend and is still there today. People seeing him in Manhattan are confused.

I've been to the North Y today and he wasn't there.  I'll be going to College Hill Walgreen's and Dillon's later and will get to the bottom of this.

Shavon Shields from MOKAN committed to NU.  Cauley lives with his family iirc.

Will be interesting to see if Shavon Shields' commitment to Nebraksa has any impact on Willie Cauley and what he decides to do

I promise I didn't post that and then post this ala Greg Swaim

Quote from: Bob Hovey
This will convince Cauley to drop hoops and pursue his dream of playing collegiate football, because after all, he's not even the best player on his own HS team and it was lowly Nubb hoops that finally got off the pot and took a crap with Shields.
