By the way Marcus Smart is probably the most underrated player in 2012!  The kid can play!

You know how KSU FB tards manage to get useless stars added to FB recruits?  Do you think we could some how use these tards and Jeremy Crabtree to actually reduce Smart's ranking and make him look a lot shittier?

Just brainstorming ideas to get Frank to recruit this kid (hard).

ESPN's take on Smart and others at the GASO:

"Marcus Smart (Flower Mound, Texas/ Marcus)
2012, SF, 6-4, 205 pounds

Smart knows how to fill up a box score, is a competitor who has a disposition to dominate and seems to be involved in every play. The No. 31-ranked player in the 2012 class has a big-time motor and is an explosive athlete who plays much bigger than his listed size. He is a bruiser who attacks the basket, draws fouls and gets to the charity stripe with regularity."

Nope. At this point, he really sounds like Dave Hoskins, except better at EVERYTHING, with the main hole in his game appearing to be the outside shot. JYC all the way.

i just looked at one of his clips, and hoskins was the first comparo that came to mind.  game is maybe 80% hoskins/20% pullen.

They sure are going after him hard...You would have to believe Frank thinks they have a decent chance, don't you?

yes.  no question that the staff feels like they have a shot, and that ellis is a priority.

IMO, Smart is more attainable and better for Frank.  I could be clueless, though.  I've been out of it lately.

there's no real info on smart.  from what little i've seen, i'd assume he's completely wide open.  with lots of schools chasing him.

with ellis, i think he'll end up local.  ku, kstate or ou.  just a hunch.
