Rowe planned a little feature where she obtained thirty pounds of pizza dough from Pizza Hut to demonstrate this, and she put it in a bag under the scorer’s table. The game was close, the opportunity to do the bit never arose (this happens frequently in live basketball broadcasts), and the gym was heating up. The dough started rising, and Rowe had to stamp it down with her heels, as it overflowed onto the guy next to her.

It has to do with the fact that no one was shocked that he was suspended.

Most AD's don't have to deal with hyper abusive, immature coaches like Frank, so they really wouldn't know.

Did anyone else hear him? When Will turned the ball over and fouled the kid on a layup to send him to the line Frank kept yelling at him, "Good job Will! Atta boy Will!", all while clapping his hands very sarcastically. This happened more than once. Then Juevol made a mistake and Frank did the EXACT same thing while clapping, "Good job Juevol! Atta boy Juevol!"

It's like punting a puppy.

I loved Frank so hard. No strong feelings either way now, but I miss this type of thing.

I wonder if being at a football school is a plus or minus, here.  You either get a little more slack because basketball isn't the focus, or the AD looks at you as a hassle and would rather can you than deal with you.

In this instance, I'm a little concerned that since his AD isn't the one that hired him, he's more at risk.
