I'm also going to try the ink plus cancel reapply, X2 next year. If everything works, you are talking 228k UR points per year. Assuming you can meet the 5X max on Freedom each Q and then reapplying continues to work for Preferred and Ink.

Best part is our credit is fantastic (bought a car in May), so my wife just lets me run rough shot with her SSN. It's like having 2 me's to play with.

The CVS>Vanilla>Bluebird changed the game for me. Paying mortgage, car, student loan, house cleaning, lawn care, etc via credit card. No problem meeting the minimums. Also just being  is significant.

I picked up a majority of the bills when GF moved in with me so she could get her CCs paid off and in line for this very reason

I offer to pay for everything for my roommate and he can just take it out of my rent that I can't pay him with my CC.  Also nice that I can pay my car insurance with a CC since In on my patent policy, it's like $850 every 6 months and then they just write me a check for their portion.

yes, if you can swing the $5000 min spend for both then this would be a no-brainer, that would be $10,000 in 3 months for both cards. The Plus is a normal credit card, the Bold is a charge card, which means you have to pay your bill in full, which if you're not doing you shouldn't be reading this thread.

they are different cards right, I mean I guess I just assumed since they were different that it wouldn't be a problem to get the bonus on both, I haven't actually tried it

hmm, i don't want to divert that much spend without knowing for sure that it'll work.  is this 60k likely coming back at some point?  that's an uncomfortable amount of spend, even if i do know it'll work.

a good safe play, it's not like the extra 10k is gonna make or break ya, if it was a 75k or 100k offer we might be having a different discussion
