It is pretty great. I can honestly see you and the family just partying and owning that place for a week and never wanting to go anywhere else.
I currently have only 12k AA because I blew 200k on upcoming euro trip
I think I'm going to start saving for a couple of those business class around the world tickets. Have to decide if I am going to go with One World http://www.oneworld.com/flights/round-the-world-fares/ or Star Alliance http://www.staralliance.com/en/fares/round-the-world-fare/Just from glancing at it I'm going to need between 400k and 600k of either AA or United. Seems like Star Alliance is just a flat rate and no mileage restrictions but One World can be cheaper if you don't fly as many miles because they have three distance options. Will probably take a few years to save this up. Wish you could combine, like, US Air and United points for a Star Alliance award. Would make it a lot quicker.
I'm wondering if it would be easier to just pound those US Air Barclay cards and do that yearly promo thing where everyone gets 100k miles for doing all kinds of stupid crap. I've never participated in that thing but everyone always talks about it.
hmmm, ok.[/quotehmmm, just looked over the usair promo again and it actually looks pretty good...http://boardingarea.com/blogs/mommypoints/2011/11/21/mommy-points-2011-us-airways-grand-slam-final-tally/also, link to darius getting shut out of usair card...http://millionmilesecrets.com/2012/04/10/fail-in-which-i-dont-get-a-second-us-air-credit-card/

Earn 15,000 bonus miles when you spend over $1,250 in new purchases each month in May, June and July.¹So, basically, it's like getting 5 USA miles per dollar spent if I spend about $1,250 on this card for each of the next three months. I would never normally spend on this pile of crap but I think I may have to spend my first $1,250 on it for the next three.

"Son. This is why we are wildcats. Hard work, pride, the heart of this country. And if that's not enough for you, you can just move to California with your punk friends."

Have Rick Daris send you a check for $1,000 each month when it hits his account. Spend $250/mo. on the card.
I'll probably just spend 1,250 on each of the cards for the next 3 months
