a kinda weird thing i found out is that even though the state of california forced me to start up a real business, it's easier to get a business card by making up a fake business than to get one in the name of my real business.

Very smart gE people, please help me with the best way to go about this stuff.

Due to recent events I will soon be hit with the insurance max out of pocket for '22 and '23 (lol at hitting it the first week of the year). Billing will be spread out over the next few weeks or months probably. I would like to get all those sweet csp points off paying these but would also like to use my HSA to cover what I can since it no longer makes any sense to save that money for the future. I have no idea how those things interact, so please school me.

Pay all those out of pocket bills with your credit card. Then submit for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA. This is the play all the time, not just when you have huge bills.

This right here. I got Lasik a year ago, put it on a card for the points. Transferred funds from my FSA then HSA to my bank account then paid off cards. It was super easy, I didn't even have to upload any receipts or anything (saved the receipt just in case I get audited or something).

Amex just sent me a bank bonus. Its $350 for basically 2 months of deposit of $25k. Seems like a no brainer. Their rate is a bit lower than betterment, but $350 for 2 months more than makes up the difference in rates. from what I gather, it seems pretty easy to open an account and transfer too.

May be actually using money for the first time like ever at a Hyatt property down the road. Should I just use my CSP or is there a Hyatt card out there worth getting? I normally stay at Marriotts, but I'm fine with accumulating some Hyatt points if its worth it using their card over the CSP at their properties.

Mrs SF just got a mailer for 150k Amex Rewards for the Platinum. We aren't huge travelers but could prob squeeze quite a few benefits out of it for the $700 annual fee for a year. Looks like the base offer is 80k, should I pull the trigger on this? I normally am all Chase and or Southwest for rewards.

Yes, get that card SF.  I recently jumped on a 125k offer.  I don’t think I’ve heard of it ever being more than 150k.  And yes, you can get that fee back with the benefits.
