steve dave is the xpert, and that is up to you i suppose.
delta has nice metal (although older than average) and professional staff in my experience, but they just announced a downgrade in skymiles' value. this will probably happen with other airlines and has been discussed on here before somewhere.
i don't really like the southwest experience, but a lot of people do, and i think their points are pretty valuable (unless you want to go international)
can't speak to american/united other than i prefer leather seats to cloth seats

whichever one has the most directs from your city and flies internationally. They're all the same, really.

You have 3 options:

AA/US Air
Delta
United

And I guess Southwest but eff that.

Like was mentioned it depends where you are flying out of and where too most often.

it will be out of and returning to mci the majority of the time, except for the times i decide i want to just fly to a different city for fun on the weekends (given it's a cheap enough flight so the client is ok with it)..

pretty excited about it. will be a huge change and tons more responsibility, but bring it on. ($)

used it to get to the airport in Chicago. it was cheaper than a cab by a few bucks and the guy gave me a water bottle 

ill use it for that situation every time now.

so my bill for my SW card is due on the 27th of this month. this will give me the 50K bonus i signed up for but i dont want the points to go into my account then because i want to try for the companion pass. can i call chase and ask them to move my payment date a few days back? will it take a few days to get the points into my RR account to the point where SW will only see them go in after january 1?

your points will post to your account shortly after your closing date.  if your bill is due on the 27th, your statement should've already closed by now and if you hit the $2,000 minimum on this statement, the points will likely post to your account in a few days.  you may be screwed.

yeah, I looked through the application thing. seems like most everyone can become an überX driver. all they require is their background check and that you have a car with personal insurance. which is interesting because in my experience most policies disclaim coverage when the car is being used to carry passengers for a fee.
