I'm all for playing Tejada at 3rd on an everyday basis until he starts being worse than Moose

if you want to tejada every day (which, if he's capable of doing so, makes perfect sense), it'd be Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to put him at third instead of second.

good point, stick him at 2nd until he proves he's worse than Getz, Johnson, and Gio or until he gets hurt, I mean I don't even follow baseball that much, but this seems like pretty good logic.
I'm purple down

Not really. Moose is performing worse than Getz is, if that's even possible.

Moose is just overmatched and just completely lost. It's time to yank him and ship his ass back to Arkansas.

Not sure if serious.

OPS
Moose - June: .664
            July: .689
            Post All Star: .786

Getz - June: .488
          July: .543
          Post All Star: .543

Maybe he is fielding better?  Dunno.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Nope, just an all around terrible player that doesn't deserve to be in any organization at all.

Wish I could hear the Hawk Harrelson call of Gordon's home run today.  Also the David Lough catch would probably be good.

LOL at anyone who thinks Getz is better than Moustakas. They both suck but Getz is the worst player on a major league roster.

Getz has hit one home run in the last 4+ years.

Agreed. His calls on these plays were no doubt littered with classic Hawkisms.

Yep.  At least Moustakas had a decent season last year (20 HR, 73 RBI).

moose also has upside.  i think it's already become much, much less likely that he'll ever turn into a significantly better than average third baseman.  but i think it's still fairly probable that he could still become an average or just slightly below average everyday player.  that still has a fair amount of value.  getz has no upside and no value.

He's already average defensively, and has shown better range than all but Longoria and Machado.  Despite the slow start I think he could pull off an "average" season this year.  He's been an above average performer at the plate for the last month or so.  His plate discipline has improved throughout the season and he is finally starting to his line drives.

He can still be a good player and a borderline All-Star imo.

He's only 24.  Gordon wasn't exactly lighting it up early in his career either.

He'll never be great unless he can walk a lot more though.  Like, 8 or 9 percent of the time.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

you idiots need to stop talking about moose and getz and start talking about any of the topics ive listed below:

-our 6 game win streak
-we are the hottest team in baseball
-we play the twins next, who arent very good
-holland being a top 3 closer in the game
-wade davis is back, bitches
-how great it feels to be 5 games back of the wild card spot in late july
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

I agree with all of this except Getz.  He sucks.

This season comes down to the next 2 weeks.  In our next 16 games, 12 are against the Twins, Mets, Marlins - 3 of the worst teams in baseball.  If we're going to be anything other than a middling .500 team, we'll win 10 of those 12 and split the series with Boston to go 12-4.  If we coast through this next stretch around .500, season's over.

I'm definitely willing to forget about anything Moustakas has done to this point if he has a strong second half.

Why would you forget 2012?

.700 OPS at 3b is pretty much exactly league average.
