If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

At the same time the Royals have won 7 straight, Cleveland has won 6 straight and Detroit has won 4 straight, woof
and still 5 games back in the wildcard.

And down in Tampa Wil has a .901 OPS
I'm purple down

No one has ever expected or thought we were going to catch Detroit and win the division.

This season has always been about the 2nd wildcard spot.

Gonna be honest here, don't think I'd ever seen a moose until today. Wow. rough ridin' weird.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Not happening before the waiver deadline. Royals pushing for Wildcard #2.

If we play .600 ball the rest of the way, I think it's ours. Granted, that's asking a lot of a team that hasn't seen a .500 record into August in my lifetime.

I can't wait for the Sept. 6th - Sept. 18th stretch.  Hope we can still be competing by then.

3 games vs Tigers
3 games @ Cleveland
3 games @ Tigers
3 games vs Cleveland

Not to mention it's the first two weeks of NFL also.

Big 5 game series against Detroit coming up in two weeks also.

we could really rifle off a good stretch here. the mets dont scare me one bit, and we dont have to face harvey.

True, but at this point in the season, I'd say we're just as likely to win the Division as we are to get WC#2.  We're 7 back of the Tigers and 5 back of WC#2.  And we've got 11 games against the Tigers.

Obviously, neither scenario is likely to occur.

Heard a stat yesterday that teams with our record at this point haven't made the playoffs in over a  decade.

Welp.  If there's one thing the Royals exceed at, it's exceeding expectations.  #ourtime
