At the same time the Royals have won 7 straight, Cleveland has won 6 straight and Detroit has won 4 straight, woof

and still 5 games back in the wildcard.

And down in Tampa Wil has a .901 OPS

No one has ever expected or thought we were going to catch Detroit and win the division.

This season has always been about the 2nd wildcard spot.

3 games @ Cleveland
3 games @ Tigers

Not to mention it's the first two weeks of NFL also.

Big 5 game series against Detroit coming up in two weeks also.

True, but at this point in the season, I'd say we're just as likely to win the Division as we are to get WC#2. We're 7 back of the Tigers and 5 back of WC#2. And we've got 11 games against the Tigers.

Obviously, neither scenario is likely to occur.
