cain has sucked ass for a while now. which makes sense, since he's 27 years old and only now getting a chance to play a full year in the majors.
Cain and Frenchy are certainly not All-Stars. That said, Cain has played 66 games and is hitting .262 with 3 homers and 30 RBI. Frenchy has played 56 games and has the same number of homers but 17 less RBI, and is hitting .212.
Cain's fielding percentage is .995, Frenchy's is .990. Little significant difference, but Frenchy has the better arm.
When all is said and done, I still see Moore moving Frenchy before Cain.
frenchy doesn't make many errors. probs cuz he's too damn slow to get to many balls. good grief.. comparing fielding percentages between a rf and a cf in the first place. i mean, my goodness..
also.. batting averages?? it's 2013 bro. stop looking at batting average as some end all be all here. anybody who knows anything about the great american game knows that batting average can gtfoomf. frenchy's obp is somewhere south of .260 and his ops is a staggering .584. his awfulness knows no bounds.
btw, was at the game today and noticed adam dunn is hitting like .138 and striking out 300 times this year, but the fool has 19 homers and an ops above .700. a guy hitting 1-something is more productive at the plate than the majority of the royals lineup. and that's where we are at folks.
