I was born in 86 and I never realized how big the Royals were in KC back in the 70's and 80's. It wasn't until my gpa passed away and my great aunt moved to a retirement home and passed on all their royals memoribilia to me and I was blown away by all the random crap they had.
My great aunt was a secretary for some big shot at KC Life and would get invited to parties with the K's from time to time, Mrs. K gave her a silver platter with the KC Royals crest ingraved in the middle that is super cool.
Here is a quick breakdown of the other stuff I recieved
-85 World champs windbreaker(Already mentioned)
- About 20 Different button's, some have to do with I-70 series, others just say random Go Royals stuff
-Ticket stubs from playoffs and WS
- A couple baseballs autographed by random royals teams and one autographed by the 1977 yankee's(Checked the value online and its worth like $800

)
- Cook Books featuring the favorite recipes of the wives of royals players and managers(Autographed by the wives

)
- Shoeboxes full of newspaper clippings and magazine's with the royals on the cover. I framed a couple of the WS Champion editions and have given away 2-3 other framed WS Championship Newspapers as gifts at weddings and birthday parties.
- A framed chunk of astroturf from the 80's and early 90's.
- A huge felt baseball poster that says "Bo Knows"
- All the opening day team magazine/programs from about 77-93
- A couple of trinkets from the first game at the K and the first all star game at the K.
-Commemorative beer steins from each division title/AL Pennant/World Series
