how possible is it that both moose and hosmer stink? i'm v worried they might.  :frown:

Rany currently on 810 saying Mouse's strikeouts turned into popups. He's not a scout, but most like thinks its mechanical...if continues for another week or two, go to Omaha(no good option to replace tho). Hosmer, bad habits from last year still there.   Long term not worried, as Gordon and Butler had early troubles. But short term, sucky.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

So where do we put Duffy/Paulino when they come back? Our starters have been awesome, and these guys might be kinda sucky at first...

If Santana continues his roll, we may look to trade him for a bat (let's face it, he's not going to be here next year especially if he continues to pitch as well as he has).

Apparently he is like 1 for 39 or something in single (double?) A right now, so probably never.

Probably in the 4 or 5 hole to get a little more power in the middle of the lineup

How can anyone hate Gordon? He is like the most likable Royals since Danny Tartabull.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

MIR does this help with the Gordo hate?

Quote
Gordon takes blame for collision with Cain

Gordon, who has won Gold Glove Awards as the best American League left fielder the last two years, took the blame.

"He has responsibility, so I need to get out of the way," Gordon said. "I need to look to make sure he's coming. It's one of those in-between balls that we've got to clean up, and we will."

I haven't watched every moment of every game, but my favorite player is Lorenzo Cain.

Also, "can't spell Hosmer without homer" is what I'm going to be yelling when he starts going yardskies on bitches (YOB)

WARM UP THE HATE MAIL THINGY!

Royals go 3-2 on the road vs 2 of the top 3 teams in the power rankings, and drop a spot.  :curse: :curse: :curse:

Butler might be my favorite player. There are lots of players to like on this roster. Holland has just been filthy his last few outings.

Holland's slider.

Detroit loses four straight and moves up a spot. Makes sense.

Yup, he's doing awful. That's what happens when you can only play 20 games in HS, in Kansas. Small sampling size in a shitty 4A league. I know he played summer ball too, but still.

Butler's fatness is one of his most likable attributes imo.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Pretty sure GE is a 5 or 6a school

They bumped up to 5A, but they were in the same league as a bunch of 4A's. I know that cause Eudora played them every year. Either way, you catch the drift. 20 games a year in HS is criminal. Texas & Cali average 40-60 a year in HS.

I'm guessing most of the scouting of Bubba was based on his summer ball play.  HS ball in KS is pretty meaningless but the state still produces a ton (per capita anyway) of good talent.

Bubba is batting .156 (9 for 64) with 2 homers and 4 RBI's.

For more depressing stats:  http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?sid=milb&t=p_pbp&pid=605490

Hope he breaks out of it soon.
