Meh, Ned stretched Hammel to 7 last time and it worked.

My biggest issue is still the offense. We aren't scoring any early right now and this team isn't always going to come back after being down a run or 3 early every game. They just have to figure out their adjustments at the plate and I'm sure they will, I just hope this bad streak is about over. 5 losses in 7 games is pretty normal for this season, now we just need to win 6 of 8 or something. It's just what this team is.

one of the most amazing things I've ever seen was Ned getting boo'd off the field at the Wildcard game and 2 weeks later the stadium was chanting his name when we beat the Orioles and he was holding the AL Champs trophy.

I hope they figure out a way for his statue to have sunglasses come down and land on his face and there's a little LED light that flashes "deal with it"

Felix scratched tonight.

Facing some lefty with 2 appearances the last 3 years. Gave up 9 runs and 4 homers in 6 innings.

That probably means we'll score 1 through 7 against him.

I wonder if Kc will call up Junis to pitch with Duffy. Junis last pitched on Tuesday, so I think he's a good bet.

Then that would set up for...
Kennedy (Mon)
Vargas (Tues)
Cahill (Wed)
Hammel (Thur)
Duffy (Fri)
Kennedy (Sat)

option B would be Duffy/Kennedy tommorow. Then call up someone for Thursday start after other 3 starters pitch Mon-Wed.

We need to sweep the DH tomorrow. We are facing this guy above. He's nothing special. In his 12 career mlb games, Righties have roughed him up to the tone of .920 OPS.

Then we also likely face Rameriz. He has a 6.00 ERA in 9 starts. Only Ave 4.2 innings per start, and he's allowed 9 HR in 42 Innings as a starter.

Hosmer and Butera basically just gave Seattle 4 freebie runs.

I'm including Butera because he has to do a better job of being a "catcher". He has to be better at knocking down pitches in the dirt. Even if you block it and it rolls 12-15 feet away, that's still good. That Duffy pitch ate him up and it bounced like 75-80 feet away. Fans here at the stadium were also unhappy with his hustle going after the wild pitch

It should only be 3. Gave up 2 homers.

But we were out of the 2nd and completely botched a run down to end the inning. Then the missed catch by butera to allow a run. Then another homer. Duffy isn't on, but it should be 3-2 now.
