If we sat Gordo vs most lefties, and gave Cain/Melky a day off once every 2 weeks, it may look like this every 13 games...

Cain 12/13 starting
Melky 12/13
Gordo 10/13
Moss 9/13
Boni 9/13
* could do 10,8 games instead of 9,9 for last 2 guys.

If someone is hot play them, but this way all 5 play 65% or more. Just my 2 cents.

they were just too fast.  i doubt if sequencing the relievers differently would have changed that.

All in last 35 days.
Ohh, and he blew a 3 run lead 66 days ago too

8 bullpen guys. Use them. Use their strength.
Last night, he said " Cahill was throwing the ball good".
Then why pull him in 5th with under 90 pitches?? Could it be so Minor could face lefty with 2 on base 2 out.

No it's not. Been a while, but I've done this before when I'm freaking fuming mad. And when I have stats to back in up

Duffy/Vargas/Kennedy, 3rd time thru : .242 Ave .648 OPS
Hammel : .345 Ave .920 OPS

So no, not every starter is super bad 3rd time thru. Yost just won't adjust.  You had Buchter and Moylan up for a reason in the 7th.  Use them.  If they are warming up and hot, what is 1 batter faced gonna hurt??
