That umpire was bad, but from his angle there's no way in hell he could have seen that. Also, the replay wasn't even definitive that he got a piece of it. Just my

Heard what tho? Like I said, the replay review was 50/50 on if it was touched or not. Either way, that's not why they lost that game.

when a ball hits bat/glove it makes a diff sound than bat/ground/glove and bat/ground or glove. Dude is a major league umpire and should get the call right. Its a tough call but he should appeal to his partners and see if they saw different.

Thanks for informing on the sounds of baseball. My point was, the replay didn't even look like it hit his bat. but whatevs. Let's move on.
