Offense still has a ways to go despite being better.

1) Karns got his ERA down to 3.81 as a starter. Our Top 3 starters have 2.61 ERA
2) Strahm/Alexander/Minor 1.29 ERA 0.67 WHIP since April 20
3) Getting those 3 lefties out of Pen going is a good 1st step. Righty Trio Herrera/Soria/Moylan have only combined for 2 bad outings all year. Just 4 ER in 31.1 the other 36 appearances.

Unless the can smash the ball off the fence, or at the very least, situational hit at a 3rd grade level, it doesn't really matter.

.500 baseball in May is much more fun than the .300 baseball from April.

But this is Royals issue again. DP ball kills monster inning. 4 hits mixed around DP ball. Handful of games ago it was a Hos DP. This is why this team doesn't know what a 4 run inning is.

We got 2 tonight. 1 the other night. Each could have been 4-5 easy without the damn DP ball
