We got the win, so the success did occur. This team just gets in its own way too much right now.
Vargy and Duffy up next. I want to be hopeful of a sweep. This team just has to show us all they are capable of it.

The Moss signing looks horrible, but its really just guys all not performing. Dayton's best bet in the offseason was to try and get one more good season out of the Duffy/Herrera/Yordano/Moose/Cain/Sal/Hos/Gordon/Escobar core, and its those guys who are the issue (RIP ACE). 2nd Base is still a hole as it has been for seemingly forever outside of the glorious months with Zobrist, but I was ok with him giving Mondesi and Whit a try.

Biggest things Dayton whiffed were Moss, letting Holland get away for cheap, and not upgrading the RF position. Its not Dayton's fault the WS core has produced 2 or less runs in half our games.
