I mean, has Kennedy pitched bad? No but the bases are loaded due to a fluke HBP, a fluke bunt single thing, and a walk to Trout. Some nights this would be a 1-2-3 1st inning, some nights its this crap. Sports like football its easier for a good team to control the game.

Yes, but if he fields the comebacker cleanly, he only gives up the 1 run.  Instead it's 3-0

Part of being that stud pitcher is to bare down and limit damage when the inning starts off rough. Volkie was very good doing that last year for us

meh. i'm not down kennedy after his 1 bad inning so far in his royals career

I'm not down on him. He hit a batter, gave up a tough luck single, walked a batter, threw a wild pitch....and still could have gotten out of the inning with only 1 run if he fields a routine comebacker.

Angels haven't hit the ball well lately. They didn't hit him hard or anything in that inning either, but too many mistakes add up in 1 inning

kennedy moves pretty good for a pitcher.  doesn't walk all stiff like.

he needs to get back to his speed game, imo.  i'm sure you agree.
