i would prefer that the royals do not have to compete with the white sox for the central.  if they don't run away with it, they should be competing with detroit or cleveland, imo.  in that sense, the start of this season has been disappointing.

toronto, what a bunch of jokes.

Why does Chris Young pitch better at the K than other stades?

he pitched pretty great in 2014, and i don't believe he pitched a single game in kc that year.  what evidence suggests he pitches any better in kc than in any other spacious field?

As a Royal, C.Y. has actually had more success away from the K....

I think your math is flip flopped but that is definitely interesting.

why would we want one of the best Royals of all time to stay away from our guys? Do you want Jordy Nelson to stay away from the Cats because he played on bad teams?

This. It would be like playing in the Big XII championship against Texas Tech

the reason good baseball teams don't win 150 games is there is a tremendous amount of things that happen once that the ball is in play that are hard for either team to control. I just watched a ball roll at about 1 MPH up the third base line for a hit. some nights that's a foul ball, some nights its an out. there's so many random variables you need a lot of games for the cream to rise.

I mean, has Kennedy pitched bad? No but the bases are loaded due to a fluke HBP, a fluke bunt single thing, and a walk to Trout. Some nights this would be a 1-2-3 1st inning, some nights its this crap. Sports like football its easier for a good team to control the game.

Yes, but if he fields the comebacker cleanly, he only gives up the 1 run.  Instead it's 3-0

Part of being that stud pitcher is to bare down and limit damage when the inning starts off rough. Volkie was very good doing that last year for us
