WHY IS CHINGON A MET FAN?  HE SHOULD LIKE THE ROYALS LIKE EVERY OTHER NORMAL PERSON.  So infuriating.

It's often said that a series doesn't truly start until the home team loses.... I don't know about that, but if the Mets can take of business at home then games 6 and 7 will be very fun.

I don't respect him liking the Mets.  I mean I liked Frank Thomas when I was a little kid and I liked the White Sox, but then guess what, I grew up.  GROW UP CHINGON.

Not sure I heard that one sys

i had a lot of rule change ideas throughout the season.  the designated runner is a player that the manager "designates" to run for any position player he chooses (can be a pitcher in the nl).  can't change players he runs for, it's the same player all game.

i haven't worked out if the runner comes in at first or if he could be stationed closer to the hitter and run before the hitter gets to first.  it's just a player safety issue.  if there's a safe place for the dr to stand then he starts from there.

Someone do a GIF of their dumbass pitcher running into the first baseman on that play early in the game so I can laugh at how stupid the mets are.

i guess they could build a little cage for the dr to stand in.  like made out of the stuff they make those screens they use for batting practice out of.  then you just position him in the cage, probably behind the ump or maybe the batter.  on contact he is off and running.  maybe the hitter has to tag him like in a relay, not sure on that.

Started out even. Mets pitcher and first baseman ran into each other, was hilarious. Then all downhill from there. Then rough ridin' billy joel's fat face was on tv too much.

Ventura struggled, then we pitched Morales for some reason and the game got out of hand.
