It wasn't hindsight wanting Zobrist in at the end of the game first of all. I criticized it at the time. Dyson stole a base, yeah, and that was fun, but Zobrist would've scored anyway with Hosmer and Morales's hit. I don't like subbing out Zobrist, and it was a mistake. Mocat's right that the move isn't why we lost, but having Zobrist in gives us a better chance to win. Not sure why that's even being questioned.

that's 100% hindsight. I'm actually not sure you know what hindsight means.

As a full disclaimer I'm mean to all emotional baseball fans. I mock the YOSTED! crowd probably more than any group of people. There's making a bad baseball decision and losing and there's making the correct baseball decision and losing. I get angry at the first but not the second.

Its not hindsight, because before Dyson swiped the bag I said I'd rather have Zobrist in there. I prefer to not sub good hitters when there's still the possibility of an AB late in a close game.

This must be what it's like to be a Detroit fan. Except my house is worth more than the price of a vcr
This made me laugh in what is a miserable stretch of this thread.

I know. It was disappointing, but I'm too much of a optimist to let last night ruin my perception of this team. WE GOT THIS!!!

We need a win in the worst way tonight. I know it's only been two losses in a row, but the way in which they happened makes it feel like 10.

I got mad at hosmer for attempting to make a play on that gio bunt, I can't decide if it was justified or not.

He did the worst thing he could possibly do there, but more times than not I think he tags out the runner.

guys, forget about what ned did or didn't do last night. that's not the issue.

greg holland turning to absolute dogshit this season is the issue.

I might bump some old posts where mocat lol'd at anyone saying holland was fading if I get time.

Wade will always be in high leverage situations.

Its not Wade vs. Greg, because the 8th inning guy is just as valuable as the 9th inning guy, maybe more because of the way they use him in games where we're behind a run, or tied. If Holland is pulled from the 9th role, flipping him and Wade is pointless. If Holland moves, he needs to flip roles with Hochevar.
