So they score a run with no hit and no SF.

HBP scored both times.

6-1, 4-0 games you live with, but our mistakes are reason we Dont lead right now.

HBP then Omar drops the tag at 2nd. Greasy as eff.

lol at the warnings. Nobody's trying to hit anyone in a 1-run game.

Royals had a 3 run lead AND we led after 4 innings.

We dont lose this year when either of those happen, so the fact that we may lose when both happen......

Posse stat of the night...

I could have posted this 3 games ago, but being in a bad mood, I'm trying to be effing glass half full. We won the road trip.   In our last 14 road trips, we have only lost 2 of them.  We have won 10 and 2 were .500 on the trip

That said, let's get back to the K and take out some frustrations (17 of next 21 games at home.)

pretty great SD.

I am ready to trade whatever we have to trade to upgrade starting pitching. This IS the window. Not next year, not the next 3 years, this year.

people who I'm taking OFF the table:

salvy
hos
moose
esky
cain
davis
holland
morales (I mean, I would trade him for someone awesome but at the value he would bring I'd rather just keep him)

people I'll listen for:

hererra
all non cain outfielders
any starter
any middle relief
any minor leaguer

the problem we have is most of the above are essentially worthless. gordon with limited contract left? meh. hererra may be our best value but he won't bring much. rios, dyson, lol.mp3. do we have some valuable secret commodity on the farm?

we are in first place in the AL with the pieces we have. and I don't want to trade most of those good pieces that have gotten us there. and it would take trading some of those good pieces to get a legitimate starter. can't we just pay a shitload of money for one instead?

we probably could if we agreed to take over Cole Hamels contract from the Phillies. Wouldn't take that much talent. Raul Mondesi I guess is our most tradable prospect.

Maybe its naive but I think we can make it happen with what we have right now.

I'd trade Holland in a heartbeat. He's arbitration eligible after this season and Davis is more than capable of closing. Bump Herrera up to the 8th and Madson to the 7th.
