i know innings pitched is normally a big thing for starters, but with the surfeit of quality relievers, i don't mind getting short starts, as long as they do a good job of run prevention in the innings they pitch.

i agree and if the royals get a surfeit of runs, i'm happy to put one of our quality starters in there and have him closer her out
