Even though Crawford had the ball, it would have to be a good throw. It would have been fun to see especially in hindsight.

Either way it would have been the most memorable moment in world series history

Biggest FA addition we can get is someone who will teach our mongoloid catcher the difference between a ball and a strike. It's amazing how far he has regressed in 3 season.

"I knew Perez was going to want to do something big," Bumgarner said. "I had a really good chance, too. We tried to use that aggressiveness and throw our pitches up in the zone. It's a little bit higher than high, I guess."
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

I'm still devastated.  I knew I wanted it bad but man, 90 ft away.

I feel like this is how the movie version would have ended. They couldn't win the whole thing - that would be too unbelievable.  Instead, they get within 90 feet of yet another improbable comeback, and then reality steps in with all of her matter-of-fact ways and squashes it.  But, they all walk away with their heads held high, having learned a valuable lesson about hard work and friendship that they'll carry with them the rest of their lives.

Like Friday Night Lights.  Man I thought Tim McGraw's son was going to get it done, so close.  Awesome when they are hugging at the end though.  Both father and son learned valuable lessons that day.

I'm on Season 2 you a-hole.

No, the movie

World Series shirts are great, and we should all buy and wear them proudly. However, avoid ones that have a Giants logo on it too.

Yes. I wore this one today.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Feel free to criticize the team, and Sal's lack of pitch recognition. That is a valid complaint.

But don't ever again refer to him as a mongoloid.

All of those teams lost in the WS. No thanks. If this team makes it back in the next few years they better win it.

there are no fairy tales. Before Games 6 and 7, I hung out with Dan Quisenberry's daughter. She told me she knew we'd win. Her dad's number was 29. It was her birthday, the 29th, 29 years since the 85 season.

real life blows

Look, I have not been a huge fan of Billy's, but when he hit, we were good.  He is just not worth that kind of coin.  He surely could not command good dollar as a FA, could he?

What if we offered say 2 years for 8 million?  Would he be worth that?  We could use him to give Hosmer days off at 1st.
Awaiting the inevitable KITN
