Hey guys, I saw on ESPN that no team to go up 2-0 in the LSC (that's A and N both) has ever NOT advanced to the World Series (since '85, in which they made it a 7 game series). I mean, I know that's a lot of qualifiers, BUT HOW EXCITING!!!!

I've seen a few folks in Cardinals (lol) gear out and around over the past few days, and it's been stressing me out. Because I'm not really a guy looking for a fight, but if one of those morans tries to play all BFIB with me and say something like, "golly, I'm pulling for you guys 'cause it would be swell to meet up again in the World Series," then I'm probably going to punch him in the face.*

*And by punch him in the face, I mean, say "Oh, thanks man! And I hope the Giants sweep the Cards."

Guys, speaking of Cardinals (birds), I've just been doing some number-crunching, and look at these crazy stats I figured out from the Royals playoff run so far:

Royals currently beating Orioles, who are birds.
Royals just beat the Angels, who fly (like birds).
In wildcard, Royals beat the A's, who are for the birds.

You know what's awesome about all these away games? Getting to look at their stupid dumbass fans' faces for the entire bottom half of the 9th, 10th, or 11th inning (whichever one we decided to win in). It is just absolutely hilarious. You got some people who have just given up and are trying to find the motivation to leave their seats to walk to their cars, and then some extra special fans who think they still have a shot at winning and are just cheering extra super hard and stuff. Wow, what a defeated feeling that must be. Personally, I wouldn't know what it's like, but it's fun to mock their misery.

i don't think that's accurate. i think it's maybe no team to go up 2-0 on the road.

i don't think that's accurate. i think it's maybe no team to go up 2-0 on the road.

Royals started 0-2 in 85, on the road.
