Well anyone who was blogging in game knows there were 3 big moves he could've done.
1. As J-Dub pointed out, don't even send Hendriks out for the 4th. He had no control, and was bound to have runners all over the place.
2. As Kim Carnes pointed out, Finnegan was cruising, and could've finished the 6th, even pitched the 7th.
3. As I said, leave Herrera in. No one was hitting him hard, and going to Davis there was a panic move. Davis reflected that and came in wild with a walk to start his time on the hill. Herrera has shown he can get outs with runners on. Give him that chance, since he's been nails. Davis clean 8th, Holland 9th, we go home smiling.
The problem with Ned, is that the philosophies he has are old baseball wive's tales, but then we he deviates, its based on gut and feel rather than analysis. Any one of those moves, and we probably win.
