prob also explains the attendance.  loser franchise, loser fan mentality.  always waiting for the other shoe to drop.  In my life, I've never seen this team win.  I'm expecting this team to fail.

the season high winning % (so far) came at 72-56 (.563), after a ridic hot streak where the Royals went 24-6.
since then we are 5-5. i mean that is how you cool down, everybody. you just say "oh man when we are ice cold we still go .500 because we are complete studs"

My favorite team is in leading the division in September for the first time in nearly 30 years. Its been an unbelievable string of terrible baseball. I could be conditioned to expect the worst.

But I refuse to do that. This team is going to win the division and I'm going to enjoy playoff baseball. Its going to happen. I refuse to take some "prepare for the worst, I told you so" attitude at this point.

This season has been too fun and I'm too far bought in.
