i never said it was unfair.

also i am pretty sure Moustakas is incredibly worried about getting his batting average above .200

you don't think that?

Of course I think that. But yesterday he acted all smug like he accomplished something. Its one freaking game. And please, the next time Ned points out he leads the team in HRs, someone punch his throat. Its just means your team has no power, not that Moose is good.

i had to answer the kind of questions MLB players get asked for an entire 162 game season i would be a total dick head too. i have to change the radio station sometimes because i get so pissed off at their questions.

"Tell us about the big double you had today" was a bad question?

"Tell us about..." questions are almost always bad questions. Just lazy.

Agreed, especially when they're drawn out and actually provide the answer (although Wyatt and Stan do this from time to time).

i don't think it's entitled or unappealing to point out how stupid stupid questions are.  i do it all the time in real life, and i definitely don't feel like i'm hitting over .150.  i just think stupid questions deserve stupid answers.  that may make me an bad person, but not entitled or complacent.

It's scary to think how good Ventura can be as he gains more experience in the big leagues. Even when he doesn't have his best command, the results are still pretty damn good.

How long do we have Ventura for before the Yankees sign him?

Honestly, drafting is one of the areas I'm not upset with Dayton and Co. about. Bubba was a wiff but other than that they've done an ok job. Now player development is a whole other story.

Choice of managers is also a whole other story.

Shields/Ventura/Vargas have allowed 2 ER or less in 20 of 26 starts

Since Apr 10th,  Holland/Davis/Crow/Herrera have allowed 4 ER in 52 innings

1/4 the way done with the season.... the pitching is as good as we could have really hoped for

Agreed.

Hitting, tho. Gotta step it up or we miss the playoffs again.

Trying to figure out why Billy is hitting (well, batting anyway) in the three spot.   When he happens to actually get on base, he just clogs everything up.   With Hos in the two while Infante is out, why not move Gorden into the three?   I guess it doesn't matter that much anyway because Billy is seldom on base and will just clog up things regardless of his spot in the order.

It's getting depressing.
